The GPX 5.5 Neck Brace can be defined as the most technologically advanced collar in the world. 5.5 is CE certified, and is the fifth evolution of Leatt products for the protection of the cervical vertebrae. A new mix of comfort, safety, effectiveness, greater freedom of movement, ease of adjustment to meet the needs of pilots who go out on the track and ask for the maximum lightness, but also the maximum level of protection, suitable for each Leatt¨ product. The core around which all our work revolves is the Alternative Load Path Technology (ALPT¨) and to meet the needs, the Neck Brace must fit perfectly. The quick adjustment system introduced on the 5.5 is aimed at allowing the customization of the fit to guarantee safety, not just ease of adjustment. No other Neck Brace can boast a system that guarantees the same fit. The front and rear SureFit sliding adjusters can be attached to your body shape, without any tools, in less than 30 seconds by varying the position of the two slides. The CoreFlex rear thoracic support has the exclusive feature that allows you to adjust it on 4 angles by means of an elastomer that varies the inclination to 0 ¡, 5 ¡, 10 ¡, 15 ¡ in a few seconds. The 5.5 has a lower profile, which increases comfort especially for mini pilots and those of short stature and short necks. A very simple shim can raise or lower the 5.5 so that it doesn't interfere with the helmet. The semi-rigid part of the structure is flexible and adjustable to fit the shape of the body, while the rigid part dissipates the energy transmitted in the event of an impact. The deformation zones and the breaking points break when the energies reach dangerous values.
